Understanding your growth and scaling journey
We will spend the first day guiding you through a reflection on where you want to be on your scaling journey and where you are now, mapping out the areas you will need to focus. We will start the day with an inspiring discussion with Mark Logan, Scotland’s Chief Entrepreneur and finishing the day with a session with Arelette Halavage, Global Head of Delivery Excellence and HR Transformation at GSK, focusing on the skills you need to building resilience and flexibility in your growth strategy.
Growing with purpose techniques
Scaling your business can be challenging and you need to find the techniques that work best for your and your business. We will spend the day exploring different growing techniques giving you the opportunity to expand your thinking and implement the ones that would work better for you. A company visit at the Intelligent Growth Solutions vertical farm in Dundee and a chat with the founder will help you gain new perspectives.
Leadership, teams & talents
Some of the biggest challenges that founders face when they are scaling their companies are linked with leadership, managing teams and setting their company culture. This is why we will spend the third day of the programme visiting those issues and learning techniques and strategies to implement a growth mindset with a focus on human centric leadership. We will end this day with a strategy session by Les Baynes. former MD at Accenture helping you tie everything together and map out your action plan.
Funding and partners
We will finish this 4 day course talking about funding and partners, helping you create a plan on how you will get the resources you need to deliver on your growth plan and new strategies. After sessions with investors we will join and ADA Ventures event in the afternoon giving youth opportunity to start building your networks and exploring opportunities. We will close the programme with a facilitated session to help you finalise your action plan and structure your thinking in the changes you will bring to your teams.
